Meet Titilope
I am a lawyer, social entrepreneur, and content creator, driven by a deep passion to use technology for social good.With over 4 years of experience in social impact and international development, I excel in project and program management, communication, research, volunteer management, and entrepreneurship.My commitment extends to empowering women economically and advocating for equal representation of women.
In 2021, I founded Sisterly HQ, a thriving digital community that empowers Nigerian women to share their stories boldly, connecting them with opportunities and resources for success. We achieved over 25,000 views in our first year and have shared over 2000 opportunities and resources within our vibrant community of over 40,000 Nigerian women. I believe that digital storytelling and bridging the opportunity gap will increase the representation and economic empowerment of women.On LinkedIn, I create content for my nearly 17K followers, discussing social impact, gender equity, tech, and sharing my experiences. I value sharing my knowledge to benefit my community. In 2022 and 2023, I was recognized as a LinkedIn Top Voice in gender equity and was invited to join the LinkedIn Creator Management Program.I am a 2023 Fellow at Vital Voices Visionaries in partnership with the Estée Lauder Emerging Leaders Fund. Currently, I am a 2024 Western Union Foundation Fellow, powered by the Watson Institute.My work has gained recognition globally, including representing Nigeria at the the Fora Network for Change Global Summit in Toronto, Canada and receiving Common Purpose’s 25 Under 25 Global Legacy Award. In 2023, I was named a 30 Under 30 social impact leader by Global Governance Initiative. I was also recognized as one of the 20 powerful global voices disrupting systems and driving change at Women Deliver 2023 in Rwanda.As a featured speaker, I have shared my insights at Duke University, The Forgotten Bottom Billions, Skilled Club, and as a keynote speaker at Lagos Model United Nations, West Africa’s largest simulation of the United Nations.My work has been featured in The Growth Podcast, Kurerie, Give Her Dollars and LinkedIn News Africa, as well as published in Tech Cabal, Africa’s leading technology publication. My research has been cited in Punch Newspapers, and CIO Africa.
